Decided to bring out some old photos and remember the blessings of our family from the beginning. Has been so nice to look back and really don't want to forget His leading in our lives. We so easily forget where we came from ... and we so often forget to be thankful.
We were planning on having the wedding at another church ... my home church but when we found out how many of the family were coming we had to change the church to my Grandfathers church and another place to eat. My grandfather was in his glory ... I was not ... I hated the paneling and red carpet ... we decorated as best as possible. Sharon did a wonderful job and June Romeo lent me the arch.
Getting ready ... that morning of the wedding ... we vacuumed the church and Tanya put in the back piece to my dress. She nearly freaked because I had waited till the day of for this but ... I didn't really feel at all panicked ... we had a nice morning.
Was really a job getting me dressed ... so many little buttons.
Mom looked so pretty ... this was in the nursery in the basement.
Us girls gettin ready ... we took pics before anyone got there ... outside so I had to take my dress off in between that time ... had nothing to wear because everything was packed so I ended up with the going away outfit top and a pair of shorts for a bottom ... they thought I looked hillarious so we enjoyed the goofy moment. Leslie made my going away dress the same as the bridesmaids ... I really liked that.
These were pics that were taken before the guys came ... it was a beautiful day ... the sun was perfect and the weather was just gorgeous.
So thankful Grandma could be there ... Grandpa was pretty nervous in this shot but he was also pretty excited. Grandma adored me so she was proud and glad to be there too ...
miss her but glad she could share in my moment.
